The Barbara Ash College Scholarships Minorities Fund

The College Scholarships Minorities is available to students who will be attending any one of Maryland’s 16 public community colleges for the first time and who have demonstrated leadership in community service.The applicant must be a 2011 graduate of a public high school in Maryland or graduated after April 2010.The College Scholarships Minorities applicant must have a minimum GPA of 2.7.Must demonstrate financial need, but do not have to be eligible for a Federal Pell Grant.Full-time enrollment in a degree or certificate program is preferred but not required.Up to three $1,000 scholarships will be awarded in honor of Barbara.

The College Scholarships Minorities University of Exeter Business School offers a scholarship specifically for students from the United Kingdom or the European Union, to the University of 2011/12. These students have to qualify for home / EU fresh and must have demonstrated high academic level. This award will be worth £ 2000 and all applicants for a program are automatically considered down when they apply. College Scholarships Minorities Successful applicants will be notified of the award by the Business School.

Master College Scholarships in School of Defense and Strategic Studies

School of Defense and Strategic Studies, Indonesia Defense University (IDU), now opening recruitment of students for Master Degree in three programs:

1. Defense Economics
2. Defense Management
3. Disaster Management for National Security

All the IDU's students get scholarship in term of free tuition fee during study and additional supports. There is no obligation to work in the Ministry of Defense, but the students will be expected to be the leader in undertaking national defense and global strategic challenges.

Selection process will be conducted in Jakarta.

Qualifications for general requirements:

• For military/police: minimum rank Captain - Lieutenant Colonel (graduated from Officer Advance Course/Suslapa)
• For non-military: minimum S1 Degree from reputable university with minimum GPA 3.00
• Excellent in English is a must (Min TOEFL 500)
• Have some basic knowledge of the Indonesian Defense System
